Midtown Greenway citizens patrol protects bikers
Steve Brandt has a story in the Strib that announces the formation of a volunteer citizens patrol to police the Midtown Greenway. Last fall there were a rash of attacks on cyclists on the greenway and apparently there was one such attack two weeks ago.

Minneapolis is absolutely an awesome place for biking. The chances of getting attacked are almost zero, use this story as a vote of confidence in Minneapolis. There were a couple of robberies and people are standing up. This city is a great safe place to live. I love it!
