Police seek assistance sexual assault
August 27, 2009 (MINNEAPOLIS) The Minneapolis Police Sex Crimes unit is investigating a sexual assault that occurred in the early morning hours on 8/22/2009. The crime occurred in the 1700 block of Elm St SE near the University of Minnesota.
According to the victim, she was followed into her secure apartment building by a white male stranger. He is described as being 25-30 years old, light complexion, 6’0” and a light to average build. Suspect was wearing a cream colored shirt (with a design on the front), jeans and sandals.
Investigators are looking to identify the suspect in the attached surveillance photographs. If you have knowledge of this male, you are asked to call the Minneapolis Police Sex crimes unit at 612-290-3946.
