701 Broadway Av W (Cub Foods) Friday 10-02-09 02:14 hrs 09-311629

Officer observed a vehicle driven by AP1/Howard Jr, Timothy – BM/46 yrs. ram into V1’s vehicle while in parking lot. V1/BF-42 yrs. is the girlfriend of AP1 and V2/BF-38 yrs. was the passenger. V1 had minor injuries to her vehicle.

AP1/Gates Jr, Gene – BM/50 yrs.-drunk and V1/BF-48 yrs. drunk also are cousins fighting over some “Percocet” meds. V1 said AP1 had a knife and threatened to kill her. AP1 stated V1 took $500 from him and he wanted it back. AP1 complied/booked HCJ.

S1/BM-64 yrs. was driving erratically when stopped/has suspended DL/attempted to flee and disarm Officer’s taser. During struggle, S1 consumed suspected powder cocaine. Back up was called. S1 was apprehended and taken to Hsp.

V1/mixed race male-27 yrs. shot multiple times to both thighs/left knee on sidewalk by S1/unk BM 20-30 yrs./510-601”/dark clothing/blk automatic.38 Cal and S2/unk BM–0 driving a red/maroon ’92-’95 Dodge Caravan minivan. V1 transported to Hsp.

V1/mixed race/male - 2 yrs. told PG/mom-employed when she got home that his buttocks hurt and pointed to AP1/Williams, Jessie – BM/27 yrs. /unemployed. AP1 booked HCJ.

V1/BM-58 yrs. was assaulted w/baseball bat (NLT) and robbed of $270 by S1/unk BM-0 yrs. knows address and S2/unk BM – 0 yrs./600-602”/thin. V1 went to the liquor store, saw a friend/S1 who asked for a light and then noticed S1 held a baseball bat so he took off running. S1 caught up with him, hit him on head w/bat and S2 went through his pockets.

AP1/Armstrong, Rbt. Lee-BM/65 yrs., homeless, was on the bus sitting next to V1/Asian male-67 yrs. and attempted to take his Go to Card and placed his hand in V1’s pocket breaking the chain, key ring and plastic holder for the card. AP1 booked HCJ.

AP1/Russell, Curtis-WM/43 yrs. and AP2/Blount, Leonard-BM/42 yrs. were caught ripping off aluminum siding of a house boarded up by the City of Mpls. and putting it into a red Mercury car/MN SPT398.

V1/BM-31 yrs. went to Station to report that he was driving when he saw a small child in the street. He got out of his car to tell child to move. As he was walking back to his car, 2 suspects came up behind him/put something up to his back and said “gimme all you got.” All V1 saw were 2 BMs in black clothes fleeing. His loss was $325.

V1/WM-25 yrs. was walking with girlfriend down alley when S1/unk BM 30-40 yrs./601-603”/heavy, approached him/demanded money. S1 struck V1 in face and stole $45. V1 refused medical.

V1/BM -12 yrs. was riding bike to grandma’s when 2 unk/BM juveniles/13-14 yrs. approached/pushed him off bike and rode off with it. It is a MONGOOSE bike/blue and white.

A few days earlier, boyfriend kicked a file cabinet into girlfriend’s head which caused a laceration/several stitches. Boyfriend threatened to kill the victim today also. AP was booked at HCJ.

Officers responded to a BURGDWELL in progress of vacant home. Officers arrived and a male flees on foot. AP had felony warrant. AP booked HCJ.

AP tried to cash forged check at Mickey’s Liquor. He was booked at HCJ.

NARC WEAP DASLT 09-311429

Officers were doing an attempt pick-up on a domestic assault suspect when they located S1 with an AK-47 and a quantity of marijuana. AP1 was booked/gun and drugs recovered.



FRIDAY (10-02-09):



SATURDAY (10-03-09):

CKWEL (jumper)

41st Av N/I94 09-312725

CKWEL called 911 saying he needed a ride to crisis. While squad was enroute, he called back yelling/swearing at the TC. Squad arrived and CKWEL climbed over a chain link fence and stood over 94 threatening to jump. Traffic was blocked off. After about an hour, CIT officer coaxed him back over fence/into ambulance. At HCMC, he admitted to using LSD. MPD negotiators and State Patrol all responded.
