V1/BF-36 yrs. and S1/BM – 29 yrs. were boyfriend/girlfriend who broke up 2 mos. ago; but, he still lived there. V1, holding her grand baby, asked him to leave. S1 said he wasn’t leaving/slapped V1 because she wouldn’t put the baby down and wouldn’t let V1 call 911.

There were 2 shots fired while victims were walking. V1/BM-18 yrs. received a minor gunshot wound to arm and V2/BM-27 yrs., V3/BM-19 yrs., V4/BM-18 yrs. were all shot at w/no injuries. No suspect information but bullet was recovered. V1 went to Hsp.

Officers went to Hsp. for report from V1/WF-20 yrs. - sexually assaulted by S2. S1/Unk male (first name only) - mixed race (E. Indian/Pakistani) 28 yrs. (509-510”) and S2/unk male – mixed race (Ecuadorian) (600-602”) – 28 yrs. were invited over to V1 and OT1/roommate’s duplex for drinks. V1 admitted she drinks at times until she blacks out which is what happened because she recalls being in LR drinking and waking up in morning in her bed naked. OT1 was with S1 who checked on S2 and V1 a few times. Both suspects left at unknown time and OT1 stayed in her room rest of night and didn’t lock her door when they left.

V1/WM-39 yrs. was approached by S1/unk BM (505”) long black curly hair/regional speech, S2 and S3/unk BMs who came up from behind and struck him on head demanding money and calling him a “Nigga.” S1 pointed an unk color revolver at V1 who turned over his wallet w/2 VISA cards, IDs, $1 and bus card. Suspects GOA.

V1/BM-60 yrs. was exiting a liquor store when 5 unk BM/18-20 yrs. suspects pushed him against the building/took $7 and fled. No injuries.

S1/unk BM – 16 yrs. (507”) came between the houses and approached V1/BM-18 yrs. from behind and said something that V1 didn’t understand. S1 didn’t have a gun but tried to attack V1. Instead V1 beat up S1 who fled and may have minor injuries.

V1/WM-47 yrs. had been drinking w/friend at Tooties Bar and was walking toward a bus stop when 3 BMs/unk 18-20 yrs. (same description for all three) attacked him by pushing him to ground kicking his face, sides, arms and legs. S1 had a long wood stick to hit with. V1 refused medical. $112 in cash and a new leather wallet were stolen.

V1/female – 18 yrs. and W1/male – 17 yrs. were walking in area of North HS and approached by S1/unk BM 17-24 yrs. (508”) violent/goatee/medium afro/regional speech who pointed a black handgun at V1 demanding her Dell laptop. S1 fled on foot.

V1/BM-27 yrs. was just about to enter his vehicle after visiting a friend when threatened w/black semi-auto pistol by S1/unk BM 20-23 yrs. 602”/light build dressed in all black demanding money. V1 said he had none and ran. V1 reported no loss/no injury.

V1/BM-45 yrs. is owner of Anderson Mitchell Construction and OT1 is an employee of V1. OT1 had not been showing up for work for a few days so V1 was thinking about firing her. S1/known is the boyfriend of OT1 who was driving her car/MN TVR433 2002 FORD Mustang-red/maroon by V1’s business. S1 displayed a handgun holding it in the air/staring at V1 as he slowly drove by.

A SAVAGE ARMS 12 GA pump action shotgun 18” BBL, MFG/Chicopee Falls, Mass, USA was recovered from S1/known BM-17 yrs. and S2/known BM-23 yrs. after a caller reported them shooting it in alley. They ran to a duplex/apprehended. The shotgun was found in a black bag with additional shells.

10XX Knox Ave N 21:26 hrs
Officers responded to a shooting and located two victims. One adult male victim was shot in the hand and the other was a juvenile male that was shot in the thigh (NLT). Victims were walking in the area of 11th and Humboldt Ave N when a vehicle approached and shot several times at the victims who then ran to Knox address. Both victims were transported to Hsp.

Officers were dispatched to above on a domestic call/noticed OT running around a vehicle after a female. Male who appeared to be very angry had to be maced and tased to get him handcuffed after verbal commands were ignored. Once handcuffed, Officers walked the OT over to their squad to conduct a weapons search. The OT then began slamming his face into hood of squad and had to be pulled away from squad/taken to the ground. OT appeared to be under the influence of some narcotic/alcohol. He was taken to HCMC via ambulance.

Squads responded to above on shots fired. Caller reported at least 4-5 shots fired in the alley behind above address. Caller reported seeing two black males running into above address after shots were fired. There were some spent 12 gauge shot gun shells recovered in alley. Officers were let in duplex and recovered a sawed off shotgun with shells in the lower unoccupied unit. Caller could not Id the shooter (s). Shotgun inventoried and all were ID’d.

Male and female lived together but female left last night. When she came to get her belongings, a fight broke out. Male used his pit-bull as a weapon against her by ordering the dog to “get her, get her” (per witness). During the fight, AP1 had his dialysis catheter torn out. AP1/Coleman, Curtis L. – BM/49 yrs. was arrested and transported to HCMC. The female sustained substantial bodily harm and is missing significant flesh on her body. Dog was taken by animal control. Later in the day, victim was released from the hospital and came back to get her vehicle that was at the incident address. The family of AP1 allegedly cut all the ignition wires and trashed the vehicle. V1 was able to obtain a private tow to take vehicle away.
SUNDAY (10-18-09):
PURSUIT 2348 hours to 2353 Hours
Squads observe a red Ford Mustang in the McDonalds drive-thru lane. Upon running the plate, Officers find a KOPS alert on the vehicle that show that the vehicle was stolen out of Brooklyn Center and suspect was wanted on a DAbuse Strangulation on the owner of the vehicle. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle just outside of the drive-thru but driver takes off NB on Bryant Av. N. Officers call out that they are pursuing this vehicle and you can hear the siren in the radio transmissions. Officers call out that the vehicle takes the route with top speed being 45 MPH and as low as 30 MPH. Vehicle pulls to the curb in the 3400 block of Bryant (in front of victims home). Two passengers exit the vehicle with their hands up both yelling that they were hostages. All occupants taken into custody including the driver who is the person wanted in the KOPS alert. Driver booked on PC Flee/Dabuse Strangulation from Brooklyn Center. Vehicle released to owner on scene. Henn. County dispatched advised of same.

Officers responded to a shooting above. Officers located an adult male with two gunshot wounds to his left arm. Others stated that they heard shots but did not see anything or anyone. Evidence was recovered. Victim was transported to Hsp. with NLT.
