Suspect Arrested in Homicide #14

The writer notes that Eaton, the victim had extensive contacts with police prior to the incident but the story makes it sound as if the drama played out with him as a bystander, not actively engaged in the dispute. The shooter even sounds like he was peripheral to the dispute, which was between a guy and his ex-girlfriend. What's the moral of the story here? Run away from angry people taking their business out in the street? And call the cops.
