1257 hrs 11-070835

MFD was called to a fire at this location. RP1/male, stated his
son/RP2, observed smoke coming from this property & when RP1 also
looked, he called 9-1-1. RP3/male, also phoned stating there was
smoke coming from this property & that he saw 2 males running from the
house. MFD determined the fire was started inside a built-in wood
cabinet in the kitchen. Throughout the house were cigarette butts,
empty cigarette packs; pops cans & bottles; & empty bags of snacks.
The basement & first floors were tagged with graffiti. On 2/28/11, a
burglary at the address revealed graffiti stating that someone was
going to burn the house down. Due to the fact that kids have been
seen hanging out near the home; that 2 parties were seen running from
the property; that there was debris throughout the house; & a window
was found closed, but unlocked; the cause of the fire was determined
to be Arson. The fire was contained. No suspect info. No injuries.
Estimated damage is $10,000.
