ASSAULT:
Assault 2---With a Dangerous Weapon
25th Ave N & 4th St N Thursday 3/3/11
0200 hrs 11-057823
V1/male, 31 yrs., was standing in the street at this location. V1 was
bleeding from the side of his head, but it was not a gunshot wound, as
V1 suspected. V1 was pretty vague about the incident & by his own
account, was DK. V1 advised he had been drinking & left a bar with
his cousin & others. V1 was transported to his girlfriend's house.
When V1 left the vehicle, he said he was jumped by 3 unknown males.
V1 said he was hit in the head with something & at the same time heard
a loud bang. V1 suffered a large laceration on the side of his head
& was transported to the hospital. Suspects were GOA.
Assault 2---With a Dangerous Weapon
Fremont Ave N & Lowry Ave N Thursday 3/3/11 2125
hrs 11-058805
Officer responded to an assault on a bus driver in the above area.
V1/male, 52 yrs, stated he opened the bus door & 4 young males, 12-16
yrs, threw ice chunks at the driver. Driver was not injured, but
stated this is the 2nd time he has been assaulted in approx. the last
3 weeks. Suspects were GOA. Driver refused medical.
Assault 3---Significant Bodily Harm
8th Ave N & Humboldt Ave N Friday 3/4/11
1626 hrs 11-059247
Officers were dispatched to the above location on a Personal Injury
accident. Officers observed V1/male, 50 yrs, bleeding from the nose &
mouth. AP1/ female, 23 yrs, was by the other vehicle that was
involved. V1 told officers that he & AP1 were involved in a small
accident with no injuries. AP1 got out of her vehicle after the
accident & punched V1 twice in the face through his open car window,
knocking 2 of his teeth loose & injuring V1's nose & mouth. AP1 was
booked in HCJ for PC Assault 3. V1 was transported to the hospital
via ambulance.
ROBBERY:
ROBPAG / KIDNAPPING
36th Ave N & Penn Ave N Wednesday 3/2/11
2030 hrs 11-058363
Officers were dispatched to a person with a gun call. V1/male, 35
yrs, told officer he had been robbed at gunpoint the night before.
AP1/male, 18 yrs, pulled a semi-automatic gun on V1 & forced him into
a vehicle, where 2 other male suspects were present. AP1 & other
suspects told V1 to give them all his money or they would shoot him.
V1 complied & forfeited $325 in cash. AP1 & suspects then forced him
out of the vehicle. The next day, V1 spotted AP1 at the above
location & yelled as AP1 got into another vehicle with several others.
V1 followed this vehicle in his own & called police. The suspect
vehicle fled & ran a red light, striking an innocent motorist at the
corner of Penn & Dowling. AP1 & others then fled on foot & officers
located AP1 a short time later. AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC Agg
Robbery; & PC Kidnapping from the prior days' incident. V1 was not
injured.

28XX Irving Ave N Thursday 3/3/11
2025 hrs 11-058493
Officer was dispatched to a robbery of person & was flagged down by
V1/female, 50 yrs. V1 stated she was walking from the bus stop when
she passed unknown S1/male, 28-35 yrs. V1 said hello & kept walking.
About 20 steps later, V1 was grabbed around the neck from behind by
S1. V1 was able to spin & keep herself from being thrown to the
ground. S1 ripped V1's purse from her shoulder & ran away. V1 &
officer later recovered her purse which had been dumped upside down &
emptied. V1 said there was no money in it & no noticeable loss. V1
stated she was not injured & refused medical. S1 was GOA.

34th Ave N & Bryant Ave N Thursday 3/3/11
2045 hrs 11-058523
Officers responded to a robbery of person at gunpoint. V1/male, 27
yrs, told officer he was walking down the street when unknown S1 & S2,
males, 18-25 yrs, walked out from between 2 houses. The suspects
approached V1 and asked for a smoke. As V1 reached toward his pocket,
he heard what sounded like a gun being "racked." S1 stood in front of
V1 while S2 went through his pockets. V1 complied, because he didn't
want to get shot. The loss included a wallet; house keys; bank card;
& $150 in cash. Suspects then fled on foot. Both suspects were
wearing black ski masks that covered the lower half of their faces.
V1 was not injured.

Broadway Ave W & Fremont Ave N Friday 3/4/11 0018

V1/female, 36 yrs, stated she was walking home from 22nd & Lyndale Ave
N, & S1/male, 47 yrs, her ex-boyfriend, was following her. S1
followed V1 to the above location & tried to throw her down on the
sidewalk. S1 grabbed the wallet from V1's hands, as well as her apt.
keys. S1 then left on foot. V1 was not injured & did not need
medical assistance. Loss includes V1's Coach wallet valued at $50;
$380 in cash; ID/papers; & 2 apt. keys. Suspect was GOA.

Officers were dispatched to a robbery of person at gunpoint. Officers
met V1/male, 46 yrs, who was extremely DK. V1 stated he gave a ride
to unknown S1/male, 20 yrs, & this suspect called other people, & they
robbed him at gunpoint of $7000 in cash. V1 stated he owns property
& was flashing $7000 around at the bus station where he met S1 & gave
him a ride. V1 could hardly stand he was so DK. V1 could not
provide specific information on the suspects, but stated they touched
stuff in his car. V1 also stated one of the suspects used his cell
phone. V1's car & phone were dusted for prints. No further
information at this time.

V1/male, 22 yrs, is an independent salesman for a steak company & was
driving in the above area when he observed unknown S1/male, 28-32 yrs,
walking down the street. V1 asked S1 if he wanted a good deal on some
steaks & S1 replied yes, so V1 pulled over. V1 went to the rear of
the truck & as he bent over, S1 struck V1 in the face with an unknown
object, knocking him to the ground. S1 then fled on foot with a box
of steaks valued at $111. Suspect was GOA. V1 suffered a swollen
right eye & cut lip.

Officers were dispatched to a robbery of person call & met V1/male, 18
yrs, who told them he got off his school bus & began walking home when
he was approached by unknown S1/male, 14-16 yrs, on a bicycle. S1 got
off his bike & reached into his jacket by his shoulder, implying he
had a gun. S1 demanded whatever V1 had in his pockets. V1 put his
hands in the air & S1 grabbed V1's i-Pod out of his pants pocket. S1
then fled on his bike. V1 was not injured. The i-Pod is valued at
$100.

McNair Ave & Queen Ave N Monday 3/7/11 1855

Officers responded to an Aggravated Robbery incident. V1/female, 26
yrs, stated she was dropped off by her sister at the liquor store & a
green, 4-door sedan similar to a Saturn, pulled up & a party asked
what she was doing. V1 continued into the store & upon her exit, she
stated the same vehicle pulled up & unknown S1/male, 18 yrs, jumped
out, held a silver handgun to her head & yelled something about giving
him her money. V1 stated she only had $5 in her purse & asked if it
was worth killing her for it. At that time, a female jumped from the
car & grabbed V1's purse. V1 asked for her ID back, stating they
could have the purse. V1 said that S1 racked the gun & shot a round
in the ground near her feet. Both suspects then jumped back into the
vehicle & took off. V1 did not suffer a loss & was not injured. The
staff & witnesses at the liquor store believe V1 made up the story, as
they did not hear anything, even though they were very close to the
incident location. Dispatch did not have any "shot spotter" activity
registered at this location, either. It is unknown if this Agg.
Robbery actually occurred.

Officer observed AP1/male, 22 yrs, walking down the street. AP1
dropped his backpack between a snow bank & a parked vehicle when he
saw the squad. Officer retrieved the backpack & located a black
handgun inside. AP1 fled on foot & ran into an occupied dwelling.
The female occupant stated she did not know AP1 & he did not have
permission to be inside her residence. AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC
Weapons; PC Burglary; & Fleeing an Officer on Foot.

34XX Emerson Ave N Sunday 3/6/11
2350 hrs 11-061481
Officers responded to a robbery of person in progress at gunpoint.
Officers observed several males exit the above address & run toward an
awaiting vehicle. Officers were able to apprehend AP1/male, 33 yrs,
& AP2/male, 22 yrs, at gunpoint. AP1 was found in the possession of
V1's car keys, as well as other property belonging to V1/male, 26 yrs.
A firearm was located in close proximity of AP2 at the time of his
arrest. A large quantity of suspected marijuana & a bottle of pepper
spray were located inside the vehicle with AP1. V1 stated that AP1
held the handgun during the robbery & he sprayed V1 with the pepper
spray, as well as struck him in the face. AP2 also had possession of
the gun at one during the robbery. During a "Show Up" the victims
were able to positively ID both AP's. AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC
Robbery; PC Weapons; PC Narcotics; & PC Auto Theft. AP2 was booked in
HCJ for PC Robbery & PC Weapons.

11XX 7th St N Monday 3/7/11
0256 hrs 11-061555
Officers observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn & a TLE was
conducted . As soon as officers made contact with the driver,
AP1/male, 19 yrs, & AP2/male, 18 yrs, the front passenger, they could
smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Both AP's
were removed from the vehicle & since officers have had numerous
contacts before with AP1, who has been threatening & hostile in the
past, both parties were placed in handcuffs. Officers located
suspected marijuana in a backpack & a fully loaded 6-shot revolver was
concealed in the front center console. Since both AP's had access to
the weapon, they were both booked in HCJ for PC Weapons.

15XX Penn Ave N Monday 3/7/11

Officers stopped AP1/male, 18 yrs, at the above location for Truancy.
AP1 stated he was of age & when officer ran his name via computer, it
was found he was 18 & had a warrant. AP1 was placed under arrest for
the WT & was found to be in the possession of a CO2 BB gun. AP1 also
had a bag of BB's in his pocket. AP1 was booked in HCJ for the WT &
possession of a BB gun in public.

37TH Ave N & 6th St N Monday 3/7/11
1557 hrs 11-061988
Officer responded to a person with a gun call & observed a party
matching the description, walking down the street. Officer caught up
with AP1/male, 21 yrs, & observed the butt end of a handgun coming out
of his front jacket pocket. AP1 was taken into custody & booked for
in HCJ for PC Weapons, as AP1 was a felon in possession of a handgun.
