Officers responded to the above location & found V1/male, 27 yrs, DOA.
V1 had been shot. AP1/male, 40 yrs, was arrested & booked in HCJ for
PC Murder.

MFD responded to a garage fire at this location. MFD had been at
this location earlier in the day to put out 3 mattresses near the
garage that were burning. The only info provided on suspects was that
3—4 children set the mattresses on fire. On the 2nd call, MFD noted a
side door on the garage had a small fire burning & it was put out with
a pump can. One child approached firefighters & provided suspect
info, but when their homes were checked, no one answered the doors.
No injuries. Estimated damage to the property is $100.

Officer was working off duty at the above location & was called to
assist with an out of control student. AP1/female, 16 yrs, the
student, was asked several times to leave the school. AP1 refused
several times & officer informed her she was under arrest for
Trespassing. While attempting to handcuff AP1, she gouged officer's
nose & face with her fingers & punched officer 2—3 times in the face,
causing cuts & several minor scrapes. AP1 was booked in Juvenile for
PC Assault 4.

hrs 11-132402
V1/male, 7 yrs, is a special needs student at the school at this
location. V1 was in the gym when an altercation occurred, causing V1
to be sent to a time out room. S1/male, 25-29 yrs, a teacher's aide,
escorted V1 out of the gym. V1 then struck S1 in the eye & S1 pushed
V1 away from him, into a wall. S1 struck the back of his head,
causing an approx. 1" laceration. The wound was not serious. V1
was given a ride home.

Officers were dispatched to the hospital on a shooting call.
V1/male, 25 yrs, stated he had been shot with a shotgun at 34th &
Fremont by 2 unknown males. V1 stated the suspects then fled the
area in a vehicle. A nurse informed officers that V1 told her a
different story. V1 then stated to officer he had been shot at 26th
& Penn Ave N by 2 of his "homeboys" but stated he did not know their
names. V1 suffered a single gunshot wound to his shoulder. V1
appeared to be intoxicated & was highly medicated. V1 seemed to be
uncooperative, as he would not provide suspects names. Wound was
non-life threatening.

17th Ave N & Queen Ave N Monday 5/16/11

Squads were dispatched to a shooting at this location. Officers
located V1/male, 18 yrs, lying face down on the sidewalk with a
gunshot wound to his back with a possible exit via his chest. V1 was
given aid by officers & stated he was walking when he heard a shot &
fell to the ground. V1 had no suspect info & no idea why anyone would
shoot him. V1 was transported to the hospital via ambulance in stable
condition.

25XX 33rd Ave N Monday 5/16/11

Officers were dispatched to the above location on a disturbance.
AP1/female, 28 yrs, was yelling & screaming & trying to fight with
others. Officers gave AP1 several verbal commands to come off a step
area. AP1 did not follow any commands & officer went up the stairs to
apprehend her. AP1 struck officer with a fist in the chest area.
AP1 was taken into custody & booked for PC Assault 4.

30XX Russell Ave N Wednesday 5/11/11

Officer responded to a robbery of person call & en route, received
info that the loss, a Dodge Neon, & was believed to be in the area of
Lowry & Penn Ave N. Officer located the vehicle unoccupied in front
of 30XX Penn Ave N. V1/male, 18 yrs, & V2/male, 20 yrs, came to
officers' location & stated they are acquaintances of S1/male, 19 yrs
& believed they were "set up." Victims were instructed to meet S1
behind 30XX Queen Ave N. Once there, they were approached by S1 &
unknown S2/male, 18-20 yrs. S1 pointed a revolver at the victims &
demanded cash & their cell phones. S1 also made victims take off
their shoes & clothes. S2 took V1's car keys & then told them to walk
away, as he held the gun. Suspects retrieved the loss & drove off in
V1's vehicle. Victims were not injured & refused EMS. The vehicle
was released to V1.

24TH Ave N & Bryant Ave N Thursday 5/12/11

V1/male, 32 yrs, stated he was at the gas station at Broadway &
Lyndale & observed S1/male, 18-22 yrs, whom he recognized, & asked him
for a ride. V1 got in the back seat. S2/male, 18-23 yrs, was in the
front passenger seat. V1 asked if he could smoke & S1 told him he'd
have to light it up outside the vehicle. S1 stopped the car & V1 got
out. S1 also got out, pulled a handgun from his waistband & told V1
to "give it up." V1 handed over $36 & a pack of cigarettes. S1 got
back into his car & left the area with S2. A KOPS alert was placed on
the vehicle & a felony stop was conducted, after squads located the
vehicle. AP1/ male, 19 yrs, was apprehended & booked in HCJ for PC
Robbery. AP2/male, 16 yrs, was apprehended & booked in the Juvenile
Detention Center for PC Robbery.

1819 hrs 11-132765
Officers were dispatched to a robbery of person call. V1/female, 11
yrs, stated she just got off the school bus when she was jumped by 3
females & 1 male, all 11-14 yrs. V1 stated that one suspect punched
her in the face & the rest punched & kicked her while she was on the
ground. V1 did not lose consciousness, but stated she was "dizzy."
V1 refused medical attention. Officers did not observe any visible
signs of injury on the victim. Loss was V1's purse, headphones, & a
school folder. Suspects were GOA.

Officers responded to a robbery of person & met V1/male, 28 yrs, who
was sitting on the ground, holding his head. W1/male, 25 yrs, told
officers they were walking down the street when 2 males, 20-25 yrs,
wearing all black, punched V1 in the head. V1 fell to the ground &
suspects stole V1's cell phone & ran. V1 would not speak to officers,
but it appeared he was very confused & had trouble with questions. V1
was taken to the hospital for treatment. Suspects were GOA.
ROBPER(Attempt) / 911 Interference

Officers were dispatched to a robbery of person call. It was learned
that V1/male, 61 yrs, was following the suspects. Officers located 3
males matching the description. AP1/male, 13 yrs, fled when officers
approached, but was caught. V1 positively ID'd the males that pushed
him, threatened to shoot him, & attempted to steal his cell phone
while he was calling 911. V1 stated the males were not customers in
his biz. & he asked them to leave. AP1 got angry & threatened to
shoot V1, then pushed him & threw a rock at him. AP2/male, 16 yrs,
attempted to grab his phone as he dialed 911 & knocked the phone to
the ground. AP1 & AP2 were booked in the HC Juvenile Detention center
for PC Attempt Aggravated Robbery.

26XX Queen Ave N Tuesday 5/10/11
1748 hrs 11-130413
Officers, in plain clothes, were conducting surveillance in the above
area when they observed 2 males with actions consistent with buying or
selling narcotics. AP1/male, 22 yrs, approached the 2 males as
officers pulled up. As officers exited the squad, AP1 appeared
shocked & began to run before officers could even give a verbal
command. As he ran, AP1 grabbed his waistband & officers were able to
see the butt of a gun. AP1 took the gun out & held it in his hand as
he ran. Officers told him to stop & drop the gun. AP1 rounded a
corner & dropped the gun at the last second as he turned toward
officers pursuing him, but he continued to run into the above address.
Officers forced entry & arrested AP1 for PC Weapons. AP1 did not
have a permit to carry & was booked in HCJ. AP2/male, 22 yrs, was
booked in HCJ for a Misd. Warrant.

1800 hrs 11-130441
Officers from the 3rd Pct CRT Unit conducted a weapons investigation
at the above location & were informed by a CI that AP1/male, 31 yrs, a
convicted felon, was in possession of a handgun. The CI also
described AP1's vehicle. Officers observed AP1 in the vehicle & had a
uniformed marked squad stop the vehicle. AP1 was apprehended &
officers recovered a .45 cal semi-automatic handgun inside the car.
AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC WEAPONS/Felon with a Pistol.

Broadway Ave W & Penn Ave N Tuesday 5/10/11 2208

Officers responded to a person with a gun call & observed 2 males
matching the description near Broadway & Irving Ave N. Officers
attempted to stop the 2 parties, but they fled on foot. AP1/male, 17
yrs, ran one direction & AP2/male, 20 yrs, fled in another. AP1
dropped a handgun, which was found to be fully loaded with a bullet in
the chamber. AP1 was taken into custody & booked in the Juvenile Unit
for PC Weapons. AP2 also threw a gun which was recovered & he was
booked in HCJ for PC Weapons.

Officers went to the above location to execute a search warrant.
AP1/male, 29 yrs, & AP2/male, 29 yrs, were located inside the
residence. As officers entered they observed AP2 throw an object &
heard a loud thud. The object was later found to be a Ruger 9mm
pistol. AP1 was found with a small plastic baggie of suspected
crack-cocaine sticking out of his pocket. A field test provided a
positive result on the drug. Officers also located a baggie of
suspected crack-cocaine in the area when AP2 ran from. This also
tested positive. AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC Narcotics & AP2 was
booked in HCJ for PC Narcotics & PC Weapons. Four other parties in
the home were tagged & released for Disorderly House.

36th Ave N & Penn Ave N Sunday 5/15/11

Officers attempted to stop a suspicious person who was walking in the
street when a sidewalk was provided. AP1/male, 32 yrs, fled on foot &
was grabbing his waistband as he ran. AP1 was taken into custody
after a short foot pursuit. Officers checked the area where AP1 ran &
located a loaded handgun. AP1 was booked in HCJ for PC Weapons &
misdemeanor fleeing on foot.

Emerson Ave N & Lowry Ave N Monday 5/16/11 1915
hrs 11-137072
Officers responded to the above area after a caller observed AP1/male,
15 yrs, waving a pistol before putting it in his pocket. The caller
gave a good description & when officers spotted the suspect, he saw
officers & ran inside a barbershop. As police ran behind him, AP1
tossed a BB gun behind one of the barber chairs. AP1 was apprehended
& transported to the Juvenile Unit where he was charged with a Gross
Misdemeanor for Facsimile Firearms in Public.

27th Ave N & Penn Ave N Monday 5/16/11
2258 hrs 11-137324
Officer saw 2 males walking in the middle of the street where a
sidewalk was provided. Officer stopped them & asked them to come to
talk to him. OT1/male, 28 yrs, had a large stick in his hand, which
officer told him to put down. As he did this, AP1/male, 28 yrs,
walked away. AP1 was told to come back & he ran from officer. While
running, officer observed AP1 holding his waistband & then saw him
throw a silver object from his waistband. AP1 was caught & officer
located a handgun lying next to a fence where AP1 threw it. AP1 told
officer he needed the gun for protection. AP1 was booked into HCJ for
PC Weapons & Fleeing an officer on foot.
